Alex studied Japanese in high school and is quite knowledgeable about Japan💯
They showed great interest in katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes), and—perhaps because they work in the medical field as a doctor and a nurse—they amusingly commented, “This must be made from the back part of the fish!🐟😮” It was such a fun and interesting moment
This time, an instructor and they not only enjoyed the sticky nagaimo (Japanese yam) but also cooked it on a hot plate, making it fluffy. Everyone loved it!
We hope that they will reproduce these dishes again at home🍳✨
