The couple from the Philippines shared that her father often makes shuma at homei, so they were very comfortable in the kitchen and handled not only the gyoza but also the other steps smoothly and efficiently.
The couple from Australia were very familiar with Japan, but it was their first time making Japanese food. They were curious about every step of the process and asked lots of questions.
Everyone enjoyed the class in their own way.
