Welcomed guests from Egypt and Dubai
It was actually the first time to host guests from these countries, so I was a little excited.
It was also their first time making okonomiyaki, and they were surprised by some of the Japanese cooking methods. While I asked many curious questions about the Middle East — a region I’ve never been to — they kindly told me a lot about Dubai’s culture and food, which was truly fascinating!
They love Japanese food, and during their stay in Japan they had been very active — eating a lot, walking a lot, and enjoying various dishes every day.
They joined our class the day before their flight home. Thank you for coming 🍳✨
