They had just arrived in Japan and have an exciting three-week trip ahead🎉
We made Okonomiyaki saet today. In this class, we use ingredients unique in Japan, and although they were surprised by the yam (yamaimo), they handled it just fine. Yamaimo is nutritious ingredient that’s highly valued in Japanese cooking.🥰
They also made the miso soup entirely by their own, from making soup stock tp cut ingredients in very Japanese ways.
