Welcomed guests from Denmark, Italy, and the United States today. Everyone joined together to make traditional Japanese futomaki rolls, along with several side dishes.
Actually, there are many different kinds of sushi—rolled sushi, chirashi sushi, nigiri sushi, decorative sushi—and countless ingredients you can use.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with Akemi, our sushi instructor. She always devotes herself wholeheartedly to the guests and teaches them as much as she possibly can. The guests seemed truly impressed by her passionate explanations.
I hope that this class inspires them to become even more interested in learning about Japanese cuisine.
