Surprisingly, the day before, their college friend Ann’s family had also joined our cooking class—what a small world! 😮😮If it had been on the same day, it would have been even more surprising😂
They often cook Asian cuisine at home, so using chopsticks was, of course, no problem at all, and they are very familiar with many of the ingredients. However, they found it fascinating that some ingredients, such as kombu, are used differently in Japan and that Japanese cooking methods is unique. I also learned a lot so many interesting stories from them.
